We urge the Government to remove visa requirements for non-UK spouses of British citizens when they come to visit the UK, such as for a short stay with family. We feel that the cost of visas for non-UK spouses often outweighs the cost of travel.
We believe the spouse of an overseas Brit travelling with that Brit to visit family or to have a vacation should be able to travel freely with their British spouse. We believe that to prohibit such movement seems to be denying families the right to gather together.
