We call on the Government to establish a Veterans & Community bank holiday on the Monday that falls after Remembrance Sunday.

We believe a Veterans and Community Bank Holiday would be a moment to honour public service, to recognise the dedication of those who have worn the uniform of our Armed Forces, and to celebrate the spirit of voluntary service that strengthens our communities. It could be a day of unity, a day to bring us together in a shared commitment to service, gratitude, and national pride. We urge the Government to establish this bank holiday, so it can be a day to bring us together.
