We want the Government to legislate to ban vets demanding payment up front for veterinary fees from pet parents who have been responsible enough to get their animals insured. We think vets should not be allowed to do this, and should have to seek payment from insurance companies.

We believe that pets are heartbreakingly going through "economic euthanasia" as a result of vets demanding full payment upfront when responsible owners have their animals insured. Pet parents insure their pets to be able to help their pets in an emergency situation when costs can be considerable so they don't have the additional stress of worrying how they're going to pay the bill should an emergency situation arise.
