We call on the Government to remove visa requirements for Ukraine citizens for short-term visits up to 90 days, ensuring reciprocity, as UK citizens can already travel to Ukraine without a visa.
The UK has demonstrated its commitment to Ukraine through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme and the Ukrainian Family Scheme, which we think have shown that Ukrainians respect immigration laws and do not pose an overstaying risk. We think a visa-free regime would strengthen UK-Ukraine ties by supporting families, businesses, and humanitarian efforts, reduce unnecessary administrative burdens on the Home Office, and align the UK with EU countries who already allow visa-free entry for Ukrainians with no significant issues.
