Attacks by dangerous out of control dogs may result in severe injuries for innocent pets and cause immense emotional & financial distress to owners. We think current legislation is insufficient. Introduce a new law to protect dogs from dangerous out of control dogs.

Scrap VCOs & introduce mandatory court enforced order with harsher penalties if breached. Require owners of aggressive dogs to register them, complete training and use muzzles. Harsher legal consequences e.g. penalties, dog ownership & breeding bans. Improve victim support & compensation for vet bills & emotional distress.
