More than half of young people want greater access to youth services in a bid to improve their mental health and sense of inclusion in their communities, new research from the NYA reveals. We think we need more funding and increased attention to the services for the youth and people of our future

One in 10 young people polled, from the youth agency survey's new research, said there are “no options at all” to access youth services in their area, while 66% said that there are “very few” or “some, but not enough”. Youth services have seen a loss of £1bn of investment resulting in zero funding in some areas. If crime is to decrease, we think this is the root of the cause you can help to reduce. We think providing a safe place for young people that can support mental health is important.
