Milestones

Fly UK leaders to the US to support a renewed 1967-based resolution for Palestinian statehood at the UN, urge the US to support it, and promote fair talks to help ensure security and sovereignty for both Israel and Palestine.

In May 2024, 143 UN member states—an overwhelming majority —voted for Palestinian UN membership (A/ES-10/L.30/Rev.1). Yet the US vetoed this motion at the UN Security Council unilaterally blocking Palestinian membership. We believe UK engagement could help end ongoing conditions in Palestine, uphold UN law, and revive meaningful negotiations—restoring hope for both peoples and fulfilling Britain’s global duty to foster lasting peace.
