Milestones

We urge the Government to increase funding for non-adversarial solutions such as mediation and arbitration. We hope that this may result in more transparency, fair processes, and a shift towards shared parenting, ensuring children’s best interests are the primary focus.

We believe that the current family court system is slow, costly, and prioritises conflict over children’s interests. Many parents face long delays and limited access to evidence. We believe non-adversarial solutions like mediation and arbitration may help to resolve disputes more effectively, fostering cooperation and preserving family relationships. We believe the Government must ensure a fairer, faster, and more child-focused system that prevents trauma and supports active, shared parenting.
