We want the Government to stop plans for the appraisal of gas from coastal communities including the drilling operation, proppant squeeze. We are concerned it could damage the local environment. We think the Government should be prioritising green energy sources and not using residential areas.
There are reports of communities affected, for example on the Yorkshire coast, who feel strongly about how drilling for oil could distress the local residents. We think it will damage tourism around the UK coastal communities which is how local economies on the coast thrive.
