Milestones

We want the government to ban PFA "forever chemicals" within period products. Some research has shown that they have adverse effects on human health and the health of the environment.

PFAs are known as "forever chemicals" because they don't break down in the environment and can persist for long periods, yet have been found in some menstrual products across the UK. With PFAs being linked to numerous health concerns, such as cancer, and endocrine disruption, we think it is vital that these chemicals are removed from such products. Also, due to the vascularized nature of vaginas, they are further vulnerable to such chemicals, highlighting the need for regulation.
