Milestones—
We believe children under the age of 7 should not be suspended from school. Many children below that age may have undiagnosed learning or behaviour needs, and this can be especially true for children from a trauma background like adopted children or those in care.
Children at this age can often be impulsive and/or have very little self-control or self-regulation, especially those with additional needs who may be waiting years for a diagnosis let alone help.
