Bipedal and quadruped robots are now publicly available, and we think the market is may significantly expand over the coming years. However, unlike drones, there are no laws or mandatory training to use these robots in public/protected spaces to prevent harm, protect privacy and damage to property.
Like drones, these robots are mostly remote-controlled by humans with enhanced AI features. Unlike drones, there are no specific legal safety requirements, training or policies to protect the public / others. We think we need regulations on how to safely operate and maintain these robots.
