Milestones

We think Members of Parliament should not be allowed to accept any gift over £150, from any one source.

We believe we are living in an era when our government is striving to make cuts to disability benefits, reducing winter fuel allowances for pensioners, and imposing higher national insurance contributions, that some of us bear the brunt of these harsh circumstances more than others. And yet, we think our Members of Parliament are regularly receiving lavish gifts worth thousands of pounds, all while fulfilling their government roles. We believe it’s a glaring and grave discrepancy.
