Milestones

We want the Government to review how the new time limited benefit will impact chronically ill people living overseas with no prospect of working. We are concerned about how the proposed new 'Unemployment Insurance' is time limited and can expire.

UK citizens living abroad are not able to claim Universal Credit even if they otherwise meet the requirements. So if this other vital support is ended, they stand to lose a significant amount of income. We think this could throw them into extreme poverty.
