Milestones

We urge the Government to stop building houses in the countryside, and to instead solely focus on cities or towns with better infrastructure.

We are concerned by the current system in place. We believe under the current system, profit motives drive housing policy, not ecological needs. We believe existing planning laws favour development over conservation, and that social disparity amplified greenfield limits worsen housing crises for the poor. We also believe current building practices are fundamentally unsustainable and current planning laws do not adequately address the infrastructure needs of new developments.
