Milestones

I want the Government to automatically award people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease the Higher Rate Care and Mobility Personal Independence Payment (PIP) award, without the need to pass tests and interviews.

People diagnosed with Parkinson's are enduring a lifelong, progressive and incurable disease that will never get better. We believe we should not have to go through the trauma and stress of the PIP application process, which currently involves complex forms, tests, interviews and reviews that may be unfair and stressful. Around 153,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK. We all deserve the chance to live our best life without having to prove we are ill to people with no understanding of the condition.
