We call on the Government to increase taxes on the UK earnings of foreign owned tech companies, particularly on social media companies. We believe these could be undermining democracy and political discourse and spreading disinformation.

We would like the Government to keep the Digital Services Tax. We are concerned about reports that the Government may consider weakening tax on foreign tech giants. We feel these companies already pay far too little tax, and that we should tax them more - not less.
