Milestones

The Government should include Sri Lanka as an eligible country to enable a Sri Lankan driving licence to be converted to a UK driving licence, for people who have held their licence for over 2 years.

Currently, individuals with Sri Lankan driving licenses are allowed to drive in Great Britain for 12 months. After this period, Sri Lankans must pass both a theory and a practical driving test to obtain a UK driving licence and continue driving. However, we think booking a practical driving test through the government website is very difficult.
