Milestones

We want the Government to make it illegal for private limited companies to own residential properties. We believe only not-for-profits, housing associations, and private individuals should be allowed to own housing.

We believe private companies owning homes drives up prices, reduces availability, and prioritises profit over people. We feel this change would return housing to its social purpose—safe, secure shelter. We believe it could help lower house prices, making home ownership more accessible and helping more people onto the property ladder, while also possibly reducing inequality and easing the housing crisis.
