Milestones

Make it illegal for printer manufacturers to remotely deactivate ink cartridges after a subscription ends. We think ink that has been paid for and is still functional should remain usable regardless of subscription status.

We think this practice is wasteful, anti-consumer, and environmentally irresponsible. We think it means users may have to discard usable ink and buy more unnecessarily. We think consumers may be subjected to hidden costs for essential printing functions in homes and businesses.
