We feel that coercive control can happen with anyone, especially in the workplace with colleagues. Some cases of coercive controlling behaviour cannot be prosecuted under the law and we think this further harms the victims while endorsing the perpetrators.

Currently, the law only applies to individuals who are "personally connected". This is not just limited to romantic or spousal relationships but it does not currently cover all relationships, such as colleagues or acquaintances.
