We, the undersigned, urge the UK Government to extend eligibility for childcare benefits—including Child Benefit, 30 hours of free childcare, and Tax-Free Childcare—to all skilled workers and taxpayers residing in the UK, irrespective of their immigration status.

We propose that the UK Government: Amend current policies to allow individuals on Skilled Worker visas access to Child Benefit, 30 hours of free childcare, and Tax-Free Childcare, provided they meet the standard eligibility criteria unrelated to immigration status. Recognize the contributions of skilled workers to the UK economy and public services by ensuring equitable access to childcare support, thereby promoting workforce participation and child development.
