Milestones

Regulate the strength and advertising of nicotine pouches to ensure that they are not targeted to children. Put a ban on sale or advertisement in school zones. Ensure that the amount of nicotine is a safe dosage with clear warnings on packaging.

These nicotine pouches may be marketed in corner shops near schools, sometimes by human representatives asked to advertise them to incoming customers, and are in enticing flavours. We think this is dangerous for children and they are already being found in the possession of many school children which may be causing addiction levels to increase in schools. The think this is an urgent issue that is damaging students everywhere.
