The Government has said it is reviewing transgender prisoner policy following the recent Supreme Court ruling. We think the Government should rule out putting trans people in prisons of their birth sex.

We think putting transgender people into prisons of their birth sex is not compatible with modern day equality. We also think that for trans people with a GRC this goes against what a GRC is for.
