Milestones

Anyone standing to be elected as an MP or Councillor, including County Councillors, should be required to have a record of five years of employment in industry or commerce.

We believe too many of them now come straight from school or university, and have little or no experience of industry or commerce. We think this is insufficient knowledge or experience to demonstrate their ability to make social or industrial/commercial decisions.
