We think the government should recognise gap in current law regarding bestiality and change it. They should make it law that any sexual act with an animal is illegal.
Under Section 69 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, a person commits an offence if they intentionally perform an act of penetration with their penis on the vagina or anus of a living animal. However, the law does not cover other forms of sexual contact with animals, such as oral sex or digital penetration. Any sexual act should be consensual and animals are unable to give consent. This is animal abuse and the law needs to change.
