I call on the Government to require fathers to undergo a paternity test before registering himself as the father of the child on a birth certificate, and to only grant exemptions for exceptional circumstances.
I am concerned about the possible abuse by mothers against fathers expressing their parental responsibility, and an increase in expenses for father attempting to prove their PR. We have retained Art 7, rights of child and we feel it is difficult to prove parental alienation by the mother. We believe this change will prevent and reduce paternity fraud cases and the caseload in family courts. We feel that currently, in practice, mother and fathers are not equal.
