Milestones

We urge the Government to review the practice of allowing extra time for GCSEs and A Levels, including: 1) reviewing exam access policies and the extra time criteria. 2)Improving oversight to prevent any misuse. 3) Allowing employers & universities to see if grades were achieved with extra time.

We believe qualification integrity matters - for Employers, Universities and ethically. Extra time is quite widespread - 42% in private vs 26.5% in state schools according to the Guardian. We believe the Government must act to ensure fairness and accountability.
