Milestones

Require all individuals standing for public office to sign a legal declaration to say that if elected, they will carry out their duties with honesty and integrity and fulfil their promises to the electorate. Otherwise, I think they should be held criminally liable.

For too long, I think that too many politicians have abandoned their duty of honesty and integrity. I think that previous generations behaved with more honour and were held accountable. I believe that the public have lost their trust in the political system and that trust needs to be re-established before our democracy fails.
