We want the Government to review, strengthen and enforce Consumer Rights on ownership of purchased digital devices/media. The original manufacturer or seller of the device or media you have purchased should not be allowed to stop your usage or delete media without your consent or refund.
I believe that in light of some recent media coverage of games being removed from libraries, music being removed, and some companies stating they have the right to essentially make devices unusable if they deem it necessary, the Government needs to intervene. I can understand stopping online services which you've not purchased, but I think that potentially making an expensive device unusable is not proportionate or right.
