We feel that people can buy pets like they can buy chocolate. Before being able to get a pet, we urge the Government to require people to undergo an extensive course which teaches you to know the appropriate care for an animal, and to obtain a license.
It is very hard to obtain a driving license, and for good reason. We believe this should be exactly how hard it is to pass a course on the care, training, bonding and overall extensive knowledge of the animal you want to have. We feel this could stop so many animal abuse cases, could reduce the caseload of animal welfare charities massively and restore humanity back to living peacefully with our precious inhabitants on Earth.
