Milestones

We urge the Government to review the disciplinary process for firearms officers to ensure fair treatment, particularly when officers may have been acquitted of criminal charges but may face misconduct hearings for split-second decisions made in the line of duty.

We believe firearm officers face significant pressure making split-second decisions to protect the public. We urge the Government to review these processes to ensure fairness for officers acquitted of criminal charges.
