Milestones

We urge the Department for Transport to allow direct conversion of Malaysian driving licences.

At present, Malaysians are required to undergo the full GB driving test process (theory and practical), despite Malaysia operating on the same left-hand driving system and having what we think are comparable driving standards. Countries such as Singapore benefit from direct licence conversion agreements with Great Britain. Given what we think are the similar road systems and licensing standards between Malaysia and Singapore, we believe Malaysians should be given the same consideration.
