Milestones

We think the government should account for fish being killed in the process of water abstraction at nuclear stations when assigning quotas. We think these fish kills should be deducted from the quotas to ensure maximum sustainable yield is met.

Without accounting for the fish killed through substantive water abstraction, we think there can be no confidence in achieving a minimum standard of maximum sustainable yield.
