Milestones

We want the Government to fund free blood thinning medications for anyone suffering from blood clots, particularly pulmonary embolisms. Without the medication you can suffer a stroke or a heart attack, potentially life threatening.

Those with pulmonary embolism (PE) have to pay the NHS prescription charge for medication to reduce the build up of blood clots, without the medication there is a higher chance of stroke or a heart attack. Many others are in the same situation, yet we have to pay for these medications. Make it free for those with PE and blood clots to get this medication.
