I’m concerned that changes to Access To Work could take away the ability of many people with disabilities to be able to work independently. Often the payments are not huge, but they make a huge difference. This is not a benefit for those who do not work- quite the opposite!

The payments can put disabled people on a level playing field, enabling them to make a valuable contribution to society and not have to claim other benefits. They can fund a range of support. We think it’s one of the most useful and fair ‘benefits’, disabled people WANT to work . Don’t disable!
