We want the government to review and regulate how social media platforms treat personal health stories, particularly around weight loss medication, to ensure fair treatment, transparency, and protection of lawful personal expression.

Some people use social media to share their weight loss journey, including those using legally prescribed medications. These stories may be removed or restricted by platforms. We think this harms mental health, stifles support networks, and discourages open, health discussion.
