Many Afghanis helped the US and UK during the war in Afghanistan. They wanted to defeat the Taliban as much as anyone. Many were left behind during a chaotic retreat. Now we are concerned they may be in danger because Afghanistan has been added to the US travel ban list.

We think the UK should step up and create a pathway for them to seek asylum here. These brave soldiers allied themselves with the US and UK in the fight against the Taliban. They were promised refuge and a better life, and because the Taliban has returned to power, their lives could be in serious danger. We think the UK should show common decency and offer them an alternative. They were allies of the UK as well and we think they deserve better. Please let's stand up for what we believe is right.
