Milestones

We want the Government to allow Displaced Care Workers to temporarily, legally work full-time with another care company while they keep searching for a new Sponsor. Additionally, grant automatic renewal of their visas if expired and restrict them to care sector work only to help with staff shortages

1. Improve Workforce Retention in the Social Care sector and help tackle health and social care workforce shortages 2. Demonstrate the UK’s commitment to ethical labour practices and fair treatment of migrant workers. 3. Help ensure that vulnerable individuals, the elderly and disabled, continue receiving uninterrupted care, reducing pressure on hospitals and emergency services. 4. Help keep care workers economically active and paying taxes, contributing to the local and national economy.
