We think that e-scooters help young people get around cheaply and safely. With the right rules, we think they could be legal for 16s with no need for a licence.
We think the fact that they're illegal for under 16s takes away a simple, fun, and affordable way for young people to get around. We think the government could set sensible speed limits, and make safe spaces to ride. Other countries let young people use them responsibly without bans or licences so why cant UK?
