I think that if the government requires car seats in all commercial vehicles transporting children, we can ensure that every child's safety is prioritised, regardless of the type of vehicle they are in.
I believe children deserve to be protected in every vehicle, not just the family car. It concerns me greatly that when we use taxis or other transportation, the same safety measures required in our own vehicle are often ignored. I think it's a risk that can easily be mitigated with the right regulations. I feel that current laws allow for a gap in enforcement when it comes to commercial transport. I think this would be an ethical step to protect our youngest passengers.
