We want the government to make it law that air conditioning must be installed in all nursing and care homes. With climate change and temperatures increasing, we feel we need to ensure the vulnerable are not left in uncomfortable, hot rooms.
Each individual room should have its own portable air conditioning unit so that residents can choose what temperature they would like their own room to be. We think this would make life more comfortable for the vulnerable.
