Milestones

We think the Working Group risks giving special status to one group, and we are concerned that a definition could limit free speech and silence concerns. Current laws protect everyone equally. We believe the process is secretive and undermines democracy.

We demand this Group be abolished to help protect all our freedoms. We think the Group's process to define Islamophobia is not sufficiently open or transparent. We feel key details about the evidence they consider has not been made public. We think that insufficient public scrutiny could undermine trust and prevent informed debate, and that issues like these must be openly discussed and decided by Parliament. Therefore, we demand that the Group be abolished. We believe this would help protect our fundamental rights and ensure transparency.
