Milestones

We feel that the role of a Teaching Assistant has changed dramatically over the years and the current salary does not reflect the hours and hard work they do. We think this need to be addressed and increased.

As Teaching Assistants, we are not only teachers. We feel we often act as carers, support workers, counsellors and the only trusted adult in a lot of cases. We work tirelessly to provide love and care for every child and we think the salary associated with the role is totally out of date.
