Nearly 20% of the UK population aged over 60 are believed to have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and reducing potassium levels in one’s diet can be key to ensure your kidneys function. For some, working out potassium levels may require searching long amounts of time for individual ingredients online.
I was diagnosed with CKD last year and I'm still struggling with what I can eat or what is best to avoid. I find that information online can be conflicting. I believe I could still enjoy some foods that I have been told to avoid if I could add up the amount of potassium in my diet each day.
