We urge the Government to require all nurseries to allow parents to be able to use free, funded childcare hours at all times of the day and week, and to increase funding for nurseries to achieve this.

Some nurseries may only allow funded hours between certain times and parents may have to pay for additional wrap around care. We believe 30 hours funding should mean at least 3 days funded childcare. Nurseries can claim money for the 30 hours, even if parents are paying additionally for wrap around care.
