Milestones

Effective, independent, real time observation required with costs funded by a levy per carcass.

Reporting has demonstrated abuse in abattoirs yet we feel there have not been enough prosecutions. We think present legislation does little to protect animals from abhorrent abuse. We think more stringent regulations are needed and an independent committee established with no link to government or industry. We think costs funded by a levy per carcass would make this proposal financially viable.
