IV Fluid treatment may be a last resort option for people living with POTS ( Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome). Some people with POTS are unable to work due to symptoms of extreme tiredness, fatigue, frequent dizzy spells and gastrointestinal issues.
We think this treatment could reduce symptoms for some people living with the condition. There have been limited studies in the past where the treatment has worked on patients with POTS and still only remains a treatment if paying private. We think paying private for this treatment isn't an option if people can't afford it due to being too unwell to work.
