Milestones—
We urge the Government to allow all schools in England to be able to choose their own holiday dates, such as being able to reduce usual holiday dates by one or two weeks and being able to set the equivalent time of holidays at their choice
We believe this would enable families to have reasonably priced holidays and not have to pay extortionate prices or taking their children out of education for holidays, as well as allowing all members of school staff to access cheap holidays. We believe by enabling all schools to set their own holiday dates, there would be no disruption to children’s learning and families may be able to afford an affordable holiday.
