Milestones

We think the Cass Review has undermined trans youths' access to evidence-based and safe care.

We think its recommendations promote harmful practices, including: • Restricting access to healthcare • Promoting caution around social-transitioning • Recommending 18 to 25-year-olds do not transfer to adult services The Cass Review was commissioned in 2020 by NHS England, and led by Dr. Hilary Cass. Many consider this review to be biased and harmful.
